Generate Lifestyle Property Images with Midjourney

1. Download Discord at discord.com/download (desktop app) or use the web version at discord.com
2. Create a free Discord account or log in if you already have one
3. Go to midjourney.com and click Join the Beta or Sign In
4. Click Sign in with Discord. This connects your Discord account to Midjourney
5. You'll be redirected to the Midjourney Discord server. Click Accept Invite

What you should see: The Midjourney Discord server with channels listed on the left sidebar

1. At midjourney.com, click Sign In → go to your account dashboard
2. Click Manage Subscription
3. Select {{tool:Midjourney.plan}} ({{tool:Midjourney.price}}). This gives you enough generations for regular marketing use
4. Complete payment
5. You're now ready to generate images

Troubleshooting: If you can't access the subscription page, try going directly to midjourney.com/app and logging in through the web interface (Midjourney also has a web-based interface you can use instead of Discord)

1. In Discord, find the Midjourney Bot in your server (it may have added a direct message thread with you)
2. Or: go to any #newbies channel in the Midjourney server, or create your own server and add the Midjourney Bot
3. Type /imagine in the message box. A prompt field will appear
4. After /imagine prompt: type your image description. Start with this apartment-specific template:

/imagine prompt: modern apartment living room, large windows, natural light,
young professional woman reading on sofa, urban city view, warm afternoon
light, lifestyle photography style, photorealistic --ar 16:9 --style raw

1. Press Enter. Midjourney will generate 4 image variations in about 60 seconds

What you should see: A set of 4 images appearing in your Discord message, each with numbered buttons below (U1, U2, U3, U4 for Upscale and V1, V2, V3, V4 for Variation)

1. Review the 4 generated images. Click on them to see them at full size
2. Click U1, U2, U3, or U4 under the image to upscale the version you like best (upscaling produces a higher-resolution image)
3. The upscaled image will appear. Right-click and Save Image (or on mobile: press and hold → Save Image)

1. Upload the saved image to Canva as a background or hero image in your flyer template
2. For Instagram: crop to 1:1 square in Canva or your phone's photo editor before posting
3. For ILS listings: upload as supplementary "lifestyle" photos (label them clearly as lifestyle images, not specific unit photos)
4. For the leasing office: print at 8x10 or 11x14 at a local print shop
