Build a Consistent Social Media System with Canva AI

1. Go to canva.com and log in
2. Click your account icon (top right) → Brand Hub or look for Brand Kit in the left sidebar
3. Click Add new brand or + New brand kit
4. Upload your community logo: click the Logo section → upload your PNG logo file
5. Add your brand colors: click + Add new color and enter your hex codes (if you don't have hex codes, use the color picker to match your logo colors)
6. Select brand fonts if your property has a preferred font (or leave on Canva defaults)
7. Click Save. Your Brand Kit is now linked to your account

What you should see: Your logo and colors saved and accessible in every new design you create

1. Click Create a design → Instagram Post (1080×1080 square)
2. Search templates for "real estate," "apartment," or "lifestyle" and find a layout you like with a large image area and clean text zone
3. Customize it with your Brand Kit:

   • Replace template colors with your brand colors (click any colored element → color picker → your brand colors appear)
   • Add your logo to the corner (click Uploads → your logo → place in corner)
   • Remove any template text you'll replace regularly
4. Click File → Save as template and name it "Instagram: [Community Name] Base Template"

Now you have a branded template you can duplicate every time you need a new post.

1. Open a new Canva design (or use the template)
2. Click Apps in the left sidebar → search Magic Write → click to open
3. In the Magic Write panel, type:

Write 7 Instagram captions for an apartment community called [Community Name] in [City].
One caption per day: Monday (amenity highlight: [your feature]), Tuesday (resident lifestyle),
Wednesday (local neighborhood tip), Thursday (leasing special: [your current offer]),
Friday (weekend activities near the community), Saturday (maintenance/tips for residents),
Sunday (community vibe/fun). Each caption: 2-3 sentences + 3-5 hashtags.
Tone: warm, aspirational, community-focused.

1. Click Generate. You'll get 7 captions ready to use
2. Copy these into a Google Doc or Notes app for the week

1. Duplicate your base template 7 times (right-click → Duplicate in the Pages panel on the left)
2. For each page:

   • Replace the background image (click image → Replace → upload from your photo library)
   • Paste the corresponding caption into the text area or save it separately for the social platform
   • Adjust any text colors if needed for readability against the new photo
3. When done, click Share → Download → PNG and select All pages. Canva will export all 7 as separate files

1. For direct scheduling: click Share → Schedule → Schedule to social media. Canva can connect to your Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn accounts
2. Or download all images and use your preferred scheduler (Meta Business Suite is free for Facebook + Instagram)
3. Pair each image with its AI-generated caption from your Google Doc
